Selection committees meet from November - September and are comprised of school media specialists and public librarians. Selection committee members must be members of CLA or CASL. Student representatives are also present on each selection committee. 2 6/7th graders are on the Intermediate committee and 2 8/9th graders are on the Teen committee.
